Deck overview

This five-color Dragon tribal deck leans on The Ur-Dragon's eminence discount and attack trigger to flood the battlefield with large flyers. The primary plan is a combat-centric curve: ramp, play The Ur-Dragon and other Dragons, draw cards on attack, and cheat permanents into play. Secondary paths include Dragon Tempest plus Ancient Gold Dragon for a direct-damage burst, and a Dracogenesis-Miirym-Marang River Regent loop that produces arbitrarily many Dragon tokens. Atarka World Render and Hellkite Charger provide the usual finishing multiplier. The deck can still function without the commander because it has several cost reducers, card draw engines, and independent combo lines, but losing the attack-trigger draw/cheat engine noticeably slows it down.
