Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Grixis spellslinger combo strategy led by Fire Lord Azula. The game plan revolves around deploying Azula ahead of curve using dense 2-mana artifact acceleration and rituals. Once Azula attacks, her Firebending 2 ability generates two red mana while her triggered ability duplicates every instant spell cast during combat. The deck leverages this duplication to generate massive card draw and mana advantage through spells like Big Score, Frantic Search, and Seething Song. This explosive resource generation feeds directly into a deterministic two-card infinite combo between Turnabout and Reiterate, generating infinite mana and unlimited spell copies to eliminate all three opponents with Lightning Bolt, Comet Storm, or Grapeshot. Supported by efficient protection, countermagic, and Magecraft engines like Storm-Kiln Artist and Archmage Emeritus, the deck consistently threatens to close games on Turn 5 with same-turn lethality.
