Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos stompy strategy led by Rakdos, Lord of Riots. It uses cheap group slug creatures and burn spells to deal early damage to all opponents, satisfying Rakdos's casting requirement. Once Rakdos is on the battlefield, attacking with him or activating pingers generates massive generic mana discounts on creature spells. The deck converts this discount into rapid deployment of high-impact Demons such as Vilis, Broker of Blood, Overseer of the Damned, and Pestilence Demon. The game plan transitions from early life-loss setup on Turns 1 through 3 to casting Rakdos on Turn 4, followed by flooding the board with flying beatsticks on Turn 5. The deck eliminates opponents through evasive combat damage and scaling burn triggers by Turn 7. It packs strong creature and artifact removal alongside reanimation backups, though it remains exposed to well-timed sweepers and targeted removal directed at its commander.
