Deck overview

This deck is a WUBR (non-green) Polymorph Control and Planeswalker hybrid commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan generates inexpensive creature tokens in the early game using cards like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Lingering Souls, then casts the commander on Turn 4 to immediately activate its −3 ability. This polymorphs a token into massive bombs such as Archfiend of Despair, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, or Hullbreaker Horror. The deck pairs this cheat engine with strong Planeswalker value, high-density 2-CMC mana acceleration, and versatile interaction. Once a threat lands on Turn 4–5, the deck rapidly locks down combat and graveyards, closing the game out over two combat swings by Turn 7.
