Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Mardu cheat-aggro build designed to deploy Kaalia of the Vast ahead of curve and cheat massive Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. By combining dense 2-CMC mana acceleration, reliable haste enablers like Lightning Greaves and Dragon Tempest, and flexible tutors, the deck consistently attacks on Turn 4 to create game-ending board states. Payoffs like Master of Cruelties provide immediate single-target eliminations, while creatures like Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Archfiend of Despair, and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight quickly overpower the rest of the table. A robust suite of free and low-cost interaction spells, including Deflecting Swat, Deadly Rollick, and Teferi's Protection, shields Kaalia from removal during her critical attack window, ensuring that the deck maintains relentless pressure until all three opponents are eliminated around Turn 6.
