Commander: Human Torch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This four-color Human Torch deck is a Voltron engine built around the Commander's combat trigger. The plan is to cast a noncreature spell before combat so Torch gains flying, double strike, and haste, then equip Sword of Feast and Famine or Buster Sword and pay {R}{G}{W}{U} to turn every hit into damage for the whole table. Extra combat effects (Finest Hour, Seize the Day, Scourge of the Throne, Hexplate Wallbreaker) plus untap engines from Bear Umbra and Sword allow repeated combats. Fiery Emancipation, Unnatural Growth, Mjolnir, and Isengard Unleashed multiply the damage. Copy effects like Helm of the Host, Vesuvan Duplimancy, and Impostor Syndrome supply backup attackers. The only true combo is Helm plus Scourge. It is aggressive but heavily dependent on Torch.
