Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck is an aggressive tribal aristocrats list focused on leveraging the commander's eminence ability from the command zone. By casting efficient low-mana Vampires on early turns, the deck rapidly floods the battlefield with 1/1 Vampire tokens without spending extra mana or cards. These bodies are weaponized using static board amplifiers like Shared Animosity, lord effects like Stromkirk Captain, and aristocrat drain engines like Blood Artist and Cruel Celebrant. In the mid-game, resolving Edgar Markov delivers immediate pressure with haste, first strike, and team-wide +1/+1 counters on attack. The deck features a resilient defensive package including Teferi's Protection and Clever Concealment to protect its board state from mass removal. Should combat stalls occur, an alternate two-card infinite combo featuring Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose allows the deck to instantly drain the table.
