Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Dark Leo & Shredder to drive an aggressive Ninja tribal tempo strategy. The game plan focuses on deploying low-cost, evasive creatures and changelings in the early turns, establishing combat connectivity, and casting Ninja spells via their sneak costs. Once the commander enters combat, it generates Ninja tokens and threatens to halve an opponent's life total whenever five Ninjas are present. The deck supplements this pressure with anthem effects like Splinter, Hamato Yoshi, life drain from South Wind Avatar and Ninja Teen, and evasive tools like Escape Tunnel and Rogue's Passage. A deep single-target removal suite featuring Vindicate, Damn, and Bitter Triumph clears opposing blockers and answers key threats. While the deck applies rapid single-target life loss, it remains vulnerable to sweepers and requires multiple combat steps across several turn cycles to eliminate the entire table.
