Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai keyword-soup Voltron and reanimator strategy piloted by Indominus Rex, Alpha. The primary plan accelerates into 5 mana by turn 4 using cheap land ramp and mana rocks. When Indominus Rex enters the battlefield, discarding keyword-heavy creatures grants it a potent combination of hexproof, indestructible, haste, trample, flying, deathtouch, and lifelink, while immediately drawing cards equal to the counters placed on it. This creates a resilient, high-pressure threat that demands specific answers such as sacrifice edicts or exile sweepers. The deck closes games through compounded commander damage or by casting mass reanimation spells like Living Death to return discarded behemoths to the battlefield. Backup lines leverage independent threats such as Elder Gargaroth and The Mimeoplasm to maintain continuous pressure even if the commander faces disruption.
