Deck overview

This deck is a classic Dragon Tribal Stompy list piloted by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages the commander's eminence ability alongside dedicated cost reducers such as Dragonspeaker Shaman and Dragonlord's Servant to deploy expensive, high-impact Dragons well ahead of curve. The game plan revolves around assembling multiplicative board engines on Turn 4, such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm or Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and transitioning into overwhelming lethal pressure on Turn 5 with payoffs like Utvara Hellkite, Terror of Mount Velus, and direct burn engines like Scourge of Valkas and Dragon Tempest. Additionally, the deck packs an infinite combat finish with Hellkite Charger and Old Gnawbone. While the deck boasts immense aerial combat power and resilient threat density, it relies heavily on creature permanents and lacks stack-based countermagic or instant-speed sweeper protection, making well-timed mass removal its primary vulnerability.
