Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a mono-blue artifact-combo deck helmed by Urza, Lord High Artificer. The plan is to flood the board with cheap artifacts, land Urza on turns 3-4, and convert that artifact density into overwhelming mana and card advantage - every artifact taps for {U}, and Urza's {5} ability exiles the top card for a potential free spell every turn. The primary wins are interlocking infinite loops: Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal for unlimited blue mana, Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth for unlimited colorless, and Retraction Helix/Banishing Knack on Battered Golem looping a zero-drop artifact for infinite casts and storm. Outlets include Walking Ballista, Brain Freeze, Thassa's Oracle, and Aetherflux Reservoir. An elite suite of free and cheap countermagic - Force of Will, Force of Negation, Fierce Guardianship, Misdirection - protects the combo turn, while Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and a dense tutor package keep the engine fed.
