Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Midrange Control build helmed by Thanos, the Mad Titan. It leverages Thanos as both a repeatable asymmetric board wipe and a potent combat threat. By combining Thanos's discounted power-up ability with blink engines like Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, Conjurer's Closet, and Nahiri's Resolve, the deck constantly clears opposing creatures while growing its commander. Dense mana acceleration and fixing support expensive, game-defining bombs such as Atraxa, Grand Unifier, The One Ring, and Niv-Mizzet, Ghost Counsel. A robust suite of disruptive pieces—including Ashiok, Dream Render, Silent Arbiter, and Kardur, Doomscourge—restricts opposing game plans, suppresses go-wide strategies, and drains life totals. Although the deck lacks instant two-card infinite combos and universal tutors, its overwhelming card advantage, versatile spot interaction, and resilient combat pressure allow it to dominate the mid-to-late game and secure a decisive victory.
