Deck overview

Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm commands a Temur Dragon tribal deck designed to ramp rapidly, deploy its commander, and overwhelm opponents with duplicated flying threats. The deck utilizes early ramp and cost reducers like Dragonlord's Servant and Urza's Incubator to land Miirym ahead of curve. Once Miirym is active, every subsequent Dragon creates a non-legendary token copy upon entry. Heavy hitters like Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas convert these duplicated entries into devastating bursts of direct damage, while haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy allow massive aerial assaults immediately. Card draw engines keyed to high power, such as Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising, keep the hand full of gas by drawing multiple cards per cast. While vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers and mana disruption, the deck possesses immense closing speed and redundancy to rebuild and finish games decisively.
