Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Golgari Aristocrats and Reanimator build led by Meren of Clan Nel Toth. The strategy leverages efficient creature tutoring and graveyard recursion to assemble deterministic win conditions rapidly. The primary line uses Entomb or Natural Order to deploy Protean Hulk, which upon dying fetches Warren Soultrader, Blood Artist, and Gravecrawler to drain the entire table in an infinite loop. As a compact backup, Witherbloom Apprentice paired with Chain of Smog delivers an immediate same-turn kill via infinite Magecraft triggers. When combo lines are delayed, Meren of Clan Nel Toth grind out overwhelming card and board advantage by looping utility creatures like Accursed Marauder, Haywire Mite, and Spore Frog. The deck also features an infinite extra-turn engine combining Meren, Coretapper, and Magistrate's Scepter. With extensive reanimation redundancy, the deck recovers quickly from removal while maintaining a consistent Turn 4 clock.
