Deck overview

Nethroi, Apex of Death commands an Abzan reanimator and creature combo deck designed to execute rapid graveyard loops. While Nethroi provides a massive mass-reanimation engine from the command zone, the primary game plan revolves around tutoring Protean Hulk or combo pieces directly into the graveyard. Using cheap reanimation spells like Reanimate, Animate Dead, or Dance of the Dead, you recur Protean Hulk and sacrifice it to assemble infinite death and enter-the-battlefield triggers with Karmic Guide, Reveillark, and Viscera Seer. You finish the game by milling your opponents with Altar of Dementia or overwhelming the board with game-ending praetors.
