Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Sea Monster stompy strategy piloted by Marvo, Deep Operative. The primary game plan ramps into Marvo on turn 4, uses top-deck manipulation tools such as Brainstorm, Sensei's Divining Top, and Scroll Rack to rig clash victories, and attacks on turn 5 to cheat massive 6-8 mana value spells directly onto the battlefield. Payoffs include devastating board bouncers like Scourge of Fleets, token generators like Spawning Kraken, and combat locks like Stormtide Leviathan. Non-legendary copy effects such as Spark Double, Irenicus's Vile Duplication, and Roaming Throne multiply clash triggers, rapidly flooding the battlefield with colossal Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents. While the deck possesses explosive mid-game board development and asymmetric creature board control, it carries notable vulnerabilities: thin instant-speed interaction, lack of defensive counterspells, and a commander that must pass the turn without haste.
