Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads an aggressive Boros Dwarf tribal deck that converts rapid creature deployment into explosive combat damage. The game plan focuses on casting low-cost Dwarves in the opening turns, accelerating mana via artifacts, and casting Thorin on Turn 4 to establish a scaling board presence. Every Dwarf entering the battlefield generates a Treasure token, which simultaneously fuels mana development and fuels Thorin's anthem ability to grant all other Dwarves +1/+0 per artifact token. By Turn 5, this creates a formidable combat board capable of pushing 20 to 30 damage in a single swing. The deck supports this aggressive posture with efficient single-target removal, equipment synergies, and secondary burn and draw engines like Balin, Loremaster and Tocasia's Welcome. While vulnerable to mass sweepers and lacking spell-based combo finishes, the deck delivers steady, high-velocity pressure through synergistic tribal combat.
