Deck overview

This competitive Azorius deck utilizes Shorikai, Genesis Engine as a potent, noncreature card-advantage and token generator from the command zone. By leaning heavily into asymmetric stax like Cursed Totem—which cripples opposing creature-based strategies while leaving Shorikai fully functional—the deck controls the tempo of the game. It accelerates via format-tier fast mana, establishes dense card draw with Rhystic Study and The One Ring, and protects its lines with free countermagic and Silence effects. The primary win conditions revolve around Displacer Kitten combined with Teferi, Time Raveler and positive mana rocks, or Hullbreaker Horror loops, generating arbitrary mana, drawing the entire library, and finishing the game on the spot through Glaring Fleshraker triggers or extort via Blind Obedience.
