Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai aggressive midrange strategy helmed by Captain America, Team Leader. It leverages the Hero creature type alongside Job select Equipment that creates Hero tokens on entry. When Heroes enter the battlefield, Captain America grants them immediate haste, vigilance, and +1/+1 counters while growing himself. The deck transitions into the midgame by compounding these modifications with power multipliers like Shared Animosity and War Machine, Avenging Arsenal. Asymmetric board wipes such as Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye clear opposing boards while preserving your counter-loaded army to swing for lethal combat damage. While resilient in board rebuilding and single-target protection, the strategy relies heavily on combat steps and natural draws to close out the table.
