Commander: Marvo, Deep Operative

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Marvo, Deep Operative leads a high-mana value control and tempo deck centered on winning clashes. The primary game plan arranges the top of the library using cheap cantrips and manipulation spells like Brainsurge, Diabolic Vision, and Portent. When Marvo attacks, winning the clash draws a card and cheats massive eight-mana threats like Lorthos, the Tidemaker, Tromokratis, and Brinelin, the Moon Kraken directly onto the battlefield without paying mana. The deck protects its board with counterspells and clears obstacles with bounce and sweepers. Victory is achieved through overwhelming combat damage from unblockable or duplicated sea monsters backed by Krothuss, Lord of the Deep.
