Brains by PipBoyDelux

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghoulcaller Gisa

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ghoulcaller Gisa is a mono-black zombie tribal deck built to overload the board. The primary plan is to put the commander into play on turns 4-5, then sacrifice high-power creatures such as Rotting Regisaur or Grave Titan to turn them into a swarm of 2/2 Zombies. Zombie lords, Banner of Kinship, and Patchwork Banner multiply the horde's power for one lethal attack. A secondary drain package using Blood Artist, Plague Belcher, Vengeful Dead, and The Meathook Massacre converts deaths and mass reanimation into life loss. Reanimation spells give the deck a second wind after board wipes. The main weakness is its dependence on Gisa and a lack of artifact removal, leaving Cursed Totem and similar effects as hard shutdowns.
