Format: Commander

Commander: Myrel, Shield of Argive

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Myrel, Shield of Argive leads a mono-white Soldier token deck that combines a combat-phase lock with exponential token generation. The primary plan is to drop Myrel behind a cheap Soldier lord, swing to multiply the army, and convert that swarm into lethal through anthems, Akroma's Will, and Throne of the God-Pharaoh. Secondary paths include Brimaz, Darien, Elspeth, and Legion's Landing for steady token production and Land Tax/Skullclamp for card advantage. The deck uses stax pieces like Grand Abolisher, Drannith Magistrate, and Voice of Victory to keep opponents from interacting during the critical turn. Myrel is single-faced, and there is no hidden commander; Prava is a supporting Soldier legend, not a build-around.
