Deck overview

This is a Gruul land-animation deck helmed by Bumi, Unleashed, built entirely around the earthbend mechanic that turns lands into creatures. The core plan is to accelerate into Bumi, use his enters-the-battlefield earthbend to create a hasty land creature, then trigger his combat-damage ability to untap all lands and gain an extra combat phase that only land creatures can attack in. The deck aims to win through repeated combat damage, using cards like Toph, Greatest Earthbender to give land creatures double strike and Kamahl, Heart of Krosa to pump the team. Backup threats include Omnath, Locus of Rage generating Elemental tokens and Liege of the Tangle turning lands into 8/8s. The strategy is straightforward but slow, relying on incremental advantage rather than combo finishes. ---
