Commander: Kosei, Penitent Warlord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kosei, Penitent Warlord is a mono-green voltron deck that wins by giving Kosei all three conditions - enchanted, equipped, and a +1/+1 counter - to unlock its trigger: when Kosei deals combat damage to a player you draw that many cards and deal that much damage to each other opponent. The deck grows Kosei with counter doublers, auras and equipment, then closes with two to three large evasive attacks. Infect from Grafted Exoskeleton and a big Vigor provide alternate closes. Kosei is both the card engine and the finisher. Vigor acts as a hidden commander as an independent trample threat that also protects your other creatures.
