Deck overview

This mono-red Commander deck is led by Ganax, Astral Hunter, focusing on Dragon tribal stompy and burn synergies. The primary game plan accelerates early mana using tribal cost reducers such as Dragonlord's Servant and Dragonspeaker Shaman to cast Ganax on Turn 4. Once Ganax enters the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon spell refunds mana via Treasure tokens, enabling the rapid deployment of game-ending threats like Utvara Hellkite, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Scourge of Valkas. The deck applies heavy pressure starting around Turn 5, combining high-flying combat damage with direct damage triggers from Dragon Tempest and Warstorm Surge to close out the game by Turn 7. While the deck boasts immense board presence, resilient threat density, and powerful damage-based board wipes, it suffers from minimal stack interaction, limited enchantment removal, and vulnerability to mass exile sweepers.
