Rakdos Blood Avatar Aristocrats (EDH) by sandmanfucker

Format: Commander

Commander: Extus, Oriq Overlord // Awaken the Blood Avatar

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Extus, Oriq Overlord // Awaken the Blood Avatar leads a Rakdos sacrifice-value deck that generates a swarm of token creatures, uses them for mana (Pitiless Plunderer), card draw (Skullclamp), and to fuel the repeated cast of the sorcery Awaken the Blood Avatar, which wipes opposing boards and creates a hasty 3/6 token that chips away at opponents' life totals. Recursing key creatures via Extus's magecraft and Phyrexian Reclamation ensures resource longevity. The deck wins through incremental damage from Avatar attacks, Serrated Scorpion triggers, and combat from recycled tokens, typically closing games in the mid-to-late turn range.
