Army of One by Justinsaniac

Format: Commander

Commander: General Thunderbolt Ross

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

General Thunderbolt Ross leads a mono-white Soldier swarm that floods the board with one-mana creatures, turns on battalion from turn three, and converts a wide but weak team into damage through +1/+0 buffs and pump spells. The commander is an always-available battalion enabler and first-strike attacker. The secondary path is the hidden commander Kytheon, Hero of Akros // Gideon, Battle-Forged: its front face is an early 2/1 Soldier, and it flips into Gideon, a 4/4 indestructible planeswalker that also protects key creatures. Token engines-Haazda Marshal, Herald of Anafenza, Descendant of Storms, and Launch the Fleet-keep the attack wide. There is no double-faced commander; the deck is built to use Kytheon's front face early and the Gideon face later.
