Clerics by vincentvanjoint

Format: Commander

Commander: Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar and Folk Hero

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Orzhov deck uses Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar paired with the Folk Hero background to run a synergistic Cleric typal, lifegain, and sacrifice strategy. Folk Hero and Shadowheart turn low-cost Clerics into consistent card advantage, fueling rapid board development and graveyard setup. The deck wins primarily by draining opponents through lifegain and aristocrat triggers, using pieces like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Marauding Blight-Priest, or Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim alongside Sanguine Bond. It also presents instant infinite drain lines with Exquisite Blood paired with any lifegain trigger, backed by Bolas's Citadel or Teshar loops to close games.
