Deck overview

This deck is an optimized high-power Commander build centered around The Ur-Dragon, combining kindred Dragon stompy beatdown with compact infinite combat combos. The deck leverages its commander's Eminence ability to discount heavy Dragon threats by {1} generic mana, enabling explosive early-game acceleration. Supported by an elite five-color mana base of original dual lands, shocklands, and fetchlands, the deck accelerates into game-warping enablers like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Tiamat, and Old Gnawbone by Turn 4. The primary win condition revolves around assembling Aggravated Assault alongside Savage Ventmaw or Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, generating infinite mana and unlimited combat steps to eliminate all three opponents in a single turn. Backup strategies include overwhelming direct burn via Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Dragon Tempest, alongside double-strike aerial assaults led by Atarka, World Render. Resilient protection spells such as Heroic Intervention, Teferi's Protection, and Dragonlord Dromoka ensure uninterrupted execution through opposing interaction.
