Deck overview

This Boros deck is helmed by Arbaaz Mir, transforming historic permanent deployments into incremental life-drain while executing a fast, tutor-dense Equipment beatdown strategy. The deck focuses on pairing high-impact weapons like Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Nettlecyst, and Sunforger with cost-cheat engines such as Puresteel Paladin, Sigarda's Aid, and Forge Anew. Creatures like Cloud, Midgar Mercenary and Kellan, the Fae-Blooded serve as lethal combat threats that double triggers and deliver massive double-strike hits. Sunforger operates as a centerpiece utility engine, providing instant-speed access to removal, protection spells like Teferi's Protection and Clever Concealment, and finishers like Akroma's Will. As a compact backup win condition, the deck features Imperial Recruiter chains into the infinite creature combo of Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Village Bell-Ringer, ensuring decisive closing power even against combat-resistant board states.
