Commander: Golbez, Crystal Collector

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Golbez, Crystal Collector is a UB artifact-combo deck that uses cheap artifacts to trigger surveil, then turns them into recursion and drain while the rest of the deck assembles a compact win. The primary plan is Thassa's Oracle plus Demonic Consultation; secondary paths are Hullbreaker Horror with Sol Ring/Mana Vault and Valley Floodcaller, Bolas's Citadel with Aetherflux Reservoir and Sensei's Divining Top, and Kitsa/Dramatic Reversal. The commander is a value engine, not a combo piece: his end-step trigger returns creatures and drains for lethal power with eight artifacts. Gwenom, Remorseless acts as a hidden secondary engine, letting the deck play from the top while attacking. The deck is fast, resilient, and can win without casting Golbez.
