Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is an explosive aristocrats and Treasure burn strategy helmed by Shadow the Hedgehog. The primary game plan focuses on deploying repeatable hasty token generators such as Urabrask's Forge, Loyal Apprentice, and Chandra, Acolyte of Flame alongside sacrifice engines like Warren Soultrader and Braids, Arisen Nightmare. When hasty creatures die, Shadow refills the hand, rapidly accumulating resources and banking Treasure tokens. On Turn 6, the deck converts this mana velocity into a decisive table elimination through high-power payoffs like Marionette Master, Mirkwood Bats, or a massive Crackle with Power. Crucially, Shadow's Chaos Control ability grants Split Second to any spell cast with artifact mana, effectively locking opponents out of responding with counterspells or activated abilities during the closing turn. With dense functional redundancy and multiple independent win routes, the deck maintains high inevitability even under targeted disruption.
