Lathril, a Lâmina dos Elfos 2 by MarcioRios

Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elfball deck helmed by Lathril, Blade of the Elves. The plan is classic go-wide tribal: flood the board with Elf mana dorks and Warrior tokens, multiply them with Parallel Lives and Doubling Season, then convert the swarm into a win via Craterhoof Behemoth, a large Finale of Devastation, Overrun, drain from Shaman of the Pack / Poison-Tip Archer, or Lathril's tap-ten activated ability. Lathril accelerates the token count through combat and provides a non-combat drain outlet, but the 99 already contains a full elf-ramp and overrun package, so the deck functions as a self-contained tribal midrange engine even when she is absent. Secondary lines include infinite mana off Staff of Domination plus a critical-mass mana Elf, and late-game haymakers like Rise of the Dark Realms.
