Gaze of the Gorgon by Trigaelon

Format: Commander

Commander: Vraska, the Silencer

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Vraska, the Silencer leads a Golgari planeswalker engine. The primary plan is to use deathtouch creatures, fight effects, and removal to control the board while developing the Vraska planeswalker suite, then accelerate loyalty with proliferate and finish through a planeswalker ultimate. The secondary plan is poison-counter accumulation plus Scheming Aspirant drain, using the same proliferate spells. The commander's role is both removal and ramp: whenever an opponent's nontoken creature dies, she turns it into a Treasure artifact, funding the expensive walkers. The hidden commander is effectively Vraska, Scheming Gorgon, who is tutorable by Vraska's Scorn and whose -10 turns any attacker into a game-ending hit.
