Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Eldrazi kindred strategy led by Azlask, the Swelling Scourge that merges aggressive token swarming with big-mana ramp. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient Eldrazi Spawn and Scion generators such as Writhing Chrysalis, Awakening Zone, and Path of Annihilation. Sacrificing these tokens accelerates mana development while steadily banking experience counters under Azlask. Once 5+ experience counters are accumulated, activating Azlask's {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} ability transforms modest 0/1 Spawns and 1/1 Scions into an indestructible, lethal army with Annihilator 1. In parallel, the deck can bypass its commander entirely by channeling burst token mana into devastating colorless titans including Ulamog, the Defiler, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, and Echoes of Eternity. While reliant on combat steps and vulnerable to exile-based board wipes, its dense redundancy and massive late-game attrition provide strong inevitability across multiplayer tables.
