Deck overview

This Bant midrange deck leverages Tidus, Yuna's Guardian to convert combat connections into continuous card draw and counter proliferation. It develops early mana and initial +1/+1 counter foundations using efficient permanents like Hardened Scales, Gyre Sage, and Ozolith, the Shattered Spire. From turns 4 through 6, the deck multiplies counters across its creature suite with engines like Evolution Sage, Forgotten Ancient, and Cathars' Crusade. It converts raw stats into lethal pressure by granting trample, flying, and double strike through cards such as Chocobo Knights, Duskshell Crawler, and Sphere Grid. Asymmetric board control spells like Damning Verdict clear opposing blockers while preserving your modified board. While vulnerable to mass exile and heavy interaction, the deck maintains strong redundancy and independent threats that can rebuild rapidly.
