Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Green Stompy and Landfall deck helmed by Grothama, All-Devouring. The strategy leverages Grothama's massive 10/8 body as an immediate enabler for power-matters payoffs such as Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, Rishkar's Expertise, and Return of the Wildspeaker to draw 10+ cards in a single burst. Backed by a robust ramp package featuring Nature's Lore, Three Visits, and Lotus Cobra, the deck transitions seamlessly from early mana acceleration to deploying game-ending threats like Cultivator Colossus, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, and Avenger of Zendikar. A deep protection suite including Tamiyo's Safekeeping, Gaea's Gift, and Mithril Coat safeguards the board against targeted removal and destruction. The deck closes games over two combat steps on Turns 6 and 7 using Unnatural Growth and trample enablers.
