Deck overview

Felothar the Steadfast leads a toughness-matters defender deck. The primary plan is to play cheap walls that ramp or draw, then use Felothar's toughness-damage and defender-attack text to turn those walls into an attacking army. Secondary paths include a flying token swarm from Wingmantle Chaplain, an enormous Towering Titan, life-drain via Indulging Patrician, and a Blight Pile/Seedborn Muse drain. Assault Formation and Wakestone Gargoyle provide backup for the commander's key effect. The deck has no fast combo and no hidden commander; it wins through incremental combat and explosive toughness payoffs. It is reasonably resilient at rebuilding after wipes but vulnerable to commander removal and sweepers.
