JOHNS VERY ORGINAL CODIE LIST by BigJawn

Commander: Codie, Ravenous Codex

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck leverages Codie, Ravenous Codex to exploit the prepare mechanic, doubling cast copies of potent prepare spells. The game plan focuses on deploying multi-color mana engines like Bloom Tender and Faeburrow Elder, followed by untappers such as Chakram Retriever and Jeskai Ascendancy. Activating Codie prepares every creature, enabling repeated casts of prepared spells that untap your mana producers and re-activate Codie indefinitely. With infinite mana and infinite copied spells, the deck closes games via direct damage from Emeritus of Conflict // Lightning Bolt or Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate. Backup plans utilizing Displacer Kitten and Extus, Oriq Overlord ensure high resilience across varied board states.
