Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis Midrange Aggro-Control deck helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord. It leverages an efficient 2-CMC artifact acceleration package and pristine fetch-shock mana base to deploy Sauron on Turn 4 or 5. Once on the board, Sauron passively generates a massive Orc Army off opponents' spell casts and converts combat connections into explosive hand-refills via the Ring Temptation mechanic. By discarding and drawing four cards repeatedly, the deck effortlessly stocks the graveyard with Anger and Wonder, granting permanent haste and flying to an army of 9 Nazgûl and Wraith tokens from Lord of the Nazgûl. Backed by a dense, low-mana interactive suite and robust Ward protection, the deck systematically pressures life totals, closing out games between Turns 6 and 8 through unblockable, high-power combat assaults.
