Commander: Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Hero tribal strategy helmed by Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider, built around playing spells from exile as its central mechanic. The front side, Gwen Stacy, exiles a card each turn and lets you play it, while the back side, Ghost-Spider, grows with +1/+1 counters from exile plays and can exile further cards. The deck packs over 20 "exile-and-play" effects, from combat triggers (Laelia, the Blade Reforged, Daredevil, Man Without Fear) to repeatable engines (Party Thrasher, Tavern Brawler) and one-shot impulse (Glimpse the Impossible, Light Up the Stage). The primary win condition is combat damage through a wide board of Heroes, amplified by War Machine, Avenging Arsenal for double strike, Kindred Discovery for card draw, and Door of Destinies for pumping. Etali, Primal Storm provides a massive burst of free spells. The deck has no infinite combos; it wins by overwhelming value and incremental advantage.
