Deck overview

This Boros deck combines aggressive Voltron combat, damage amplification, and infinite combat combos. Helmed by Lightning, Army of One, the deck leverages its commander's Stagger mechanic to double incoming damage to target opponents. Explosive mana acceleration such as Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Chrome Mox powers out early equipment and support creatures. A robust equipment tutor suite featuring Stoneforge Mystic, Steelshaper's Gift, and Open the Armory searches up critical pieces like Sword of Feast and Famine, Genji Glove, or combo components. The primary win condition centers on resolving Godo, Bandit Warlord to tutor and equip Helm of the Host, generating infinite combat phases to eliminate all opponents in a single turn. Backup strategies include chaining extra combats with Aggravated Assault, multiplying board-wide damage via Fiery Emancipation and City on Fire, or bursting life totals down with Heartless Hidetsugu. Protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Teferi's Protection defend the combo finish.
