Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Eldrazi token aristocrats build commanded by Azlask, the Swelling Scourge. The core game plan focuses on generating colorless Eldrazi Spawn and Eldrazi Scion tokens through cards like Writhing Chrysalis, Awakening Zone, and Nest Invader. As these tokens sacrifice themselves for colorless mana, they permanently bank experience counters on the player via Azlask's static ability. Once the counter count is sufficiently high, Azlask activates its five-color activated ability to grant the entire board a massive power and toughness boost alongside indestructible and annihilator 1 for all Scions and Spawns. In parallel, a dense package of aristocrat payoffs including Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Glaring Fleshraker, and Mirkwood Bats converts every token creation and sacrifice into direct damage against each opponent. The deck combines combat pressure with passive drain, presenting a turn 6 lethal threat that closes out the table by turn 7.
