Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet big-mana deck helmed by the transforming Ashling, Rekindled // Ashling, Rimebound. The front face is a looter - discard a card, draw a card - while the back face produces two mana each turn restricted to spells with mana value 4 or greater. The entire 99 is built around that restriction: a swarm of expensive dragons, cascade threats, and Elemental synergies that reward casting big spells. Tanufel Rimespeaker and Flaring Cinder turn every MV 4+ cast into card draw, while Twinflame Travelers doubles Elemental triggers. The primary win is combat damage from large flyers, accelerated by extra-combat threats like Scourge of the Throne and Moraug, Fury of Akoum, with cascade chains (Sunbird's Invocation, Aurora Phoenix) and top-deck engines (One with the Multiverse, Etali, Primal Storm) generating overwhelming value. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through sheer board presence and card advantage.
