Bilbo-Stealing by Cearleon

Format: Commander

Commander: Bilbo, Thief in the Night

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Bilbo, Thief in the Night is a mono-blue control/theft deck. The primary plan is to build mana, tax with Rhystic Study/Mystic Remora, and steal opponents' permanents until a deterministic win is assembled. Bilbo acts as a repeatable recursion engine: whenever he attacks, he lets you cast artifacts, instants, or sorceries from the graveyard, and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces can enter as a copy to double those triggers. Secondary paths are the Hive Mind + Pact of Negation kill, a Mindslaver/Academy Ruins turn lock, and Expropriate extra turns. The deck has no aggressive clock and wins by denying resources and exploiting the table's own threats.
