Deck overview

This Dimir deck pairs Zellix, Sanity Flayer with Scion of Halaster to turn mill effects into an aggressive board presence and card advantage engine. Scion of Halaster sculpts your draws each turn while stocking your graveyard with flashback spells, reanimation targets, and Incarnations like Wonder. Zellix, Sanity Flayer converts every mill trigger that hits an opponent's creature into a 1/1 Horror token. As opposing graveyards fill, scaling threats such as Consuming Aberration and Umbris, Fear Manifest grow into lethal attackers. The deck converts its wide token board into rapid life loss via Mirkwood Bats and bypasses blockers using Raise the Palisade, Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive, or flying from Wonder. A rich interaction suite protects your development and disrupts opposing combos, allowing the deck to outgrind the table and close games through combat and life drain.
