Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red aggro and combat-burn strategy commanded by Norin, Swift Survivalist. Its game plan revolves around deploying low-mana aggressive creatures alongside enter-the-battlefield burn engines such as Impact Tremors, Agate Instigator, and Molten Gatekeeper. Norin turns opponent blocks into an advantage: whenever an attacking creature becomes blocked, Norin exiles it so it can be recast immediately, protecting attackers from combat damage while re-triggering enter-the-battlefield pingers. Unique enchantments like Invasion Plans and Heat Stroke manipulate combat dynamics by forcing blocks and destroying opposing blockers. Mana acceleration from cards like Curse of Opulence, Guild Artisan, and Ruby Medallion fuels multiple spells per turn, while impulse-draw engines like Professional Face-Breaker sustain card flow. Without infinite combos, the deck closes games around Turn 9 through accumulated burn, wide combat swings, and finishers like Fanatic of Mogis and Sunspine Lynx. However, its reliance on fragile creatures makes it vulnerable to board wipes.
