Life Lessons from your Goofy Uncle by user6278315

Format: Commander

Commander: Iroh, Grand Lotus

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Temur spellslinger deck built around Iroh, Grand Lotus's blanket flashback ability. The plan is to fill the graveyard with instants, sorceries, and Lessons, then turn the graveyard into a second hand once Iroh is online. A critical mass of cast-trigger payoffs-Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, Longshot, Rebel Bowman, and Veyran, Voice of Duality-converts every actual spellcast into table-wide damage, while Archmage Emeritus, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Talrand, Sky Summoner turn casts and copies into extra cards, mana, and tokens. Storm, Force of Nature and Prismari, the Inspiration act as hidden storm commanders, multiplying the chain. The deck wins through one big critical-mass turn rather than a compact infinite combo: flashing back nearly free Lessons, refueling with Magecraft draw, and finishing with repeated pinger triggers or dragon beats from Rite of the Dragoncaller.
