Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats and token drain strategy led by Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff. Lotho lands early on Turn 2, punishing opponents who double-spell by generating a steady stream of Treasure tokens. This mana acceleration enables the deck to deploy a layered engine of token producers, sacrifice outlets, and life-drain triggers well ahead of curve. The deck steadily bleeds the table with permanents like Mirkwood Bats, Nadier's Nightblade, Marionette Apprentice, and Bastion of Remembrance, turning every token created or sacrificed into direct life loss. It can close the game through overwhelming token drain, a massive Debt to the Deathless or Exsanguinate, or by assembling the two-card infinite combo of Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Supported by flexible Orzhov removal and recursion, the deck maintains high resilience and steady card flow while forcing opponents into unfavorable combat and resource trades.
