Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck is commanded by Gisa, the Hellraiser. The primary game plan revolves around generating an overwhelming army of evasive Zombie tokens by committing crimes each turn cycle. Once Gisa enters the battlefield on Turn 4 or 5, any interaction that targets opponents or their permanents creates two buffed 3/3 Zombie Rogue tokens with menace. The deck leverages heavy creature removal and sacrifice outlets to trigger aristocrat drain effects like Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, and Zulaport Cutthroat. Mid-game transitions capitalize on card draw from Skullclamp and Morbid Opportunist to maintain card velocity. High-devotion payoffs such as Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Exsanguinate close out games alongside wide menace combat attacks. While resilient against creature-based strategies, the deck lacks answers to non-creature permanents and relies on combat steps to finish opponents by Turn 8.
